Marketing Communications Manager

Description

As a marketing communications manager, you will report to the marketing manager and be responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns to both new and existing customers, with a focus on lead generation, cross-selling and enhancing brand awareness. The Marketing Communications Manager has overall responsibility for creating and developing the marketing initiatives and enhanced product offerings for VoiceMailTel in North America. The position will be located in Toronto. Primary responsibilities include the understanding of market and customer requirements, as well as VoiceMailTel’s strategic objectives, to build high-value programs for lead generation, customer satisfaction, partner collaboration, and influence consumers through strategic placement and marketing.

Planning & Execution

Working within a dynamic team you will initiate and deliver campaigns that drive business growth. Using the full marketing communications mix, you will be an excellent project manager, a creative thinker and motivated by delivering against targets. Plan, evaluate and direct activities necessary to meet current and future product launch requirements, like Toll Free numbers, IVR, hosted PBX, VoIP services, etc. You will have experience in online marketing which will include email campaigns, online advertising, website development and analysis of online traffic. You will liaise with various internal teams and agencies to deliver marketing programs on time and to budget. You will create and implement advertising and PR campaigns that will increase brand awareness and word of mouth referrals. You will be responsible for planning and delivering regular e-newsletters to existing and potential customers. You will be in charge of the marketing budget on a day to day basis.

Communications, Sales & MarketingSupport

  • Coordinate, communicate and manage product requirements with marketing departments within VoiceMailTel
  • Conduct market research to current and prospective customers and partners on the potential for new VoiceMailTel services and required features of these services.
  • Work with internal resources to position products in America, create products and ensure that marketing goals are in line with overall VoiceMailTel direction.

Requirements

  • Must have related experience (3-5 years) in a marketing role, preferably in consumer and telecommunications marketing
  • Experience in our product like Toll free number, IVR, hosted PBX, VoIP services
  • IT lead generation campaign experience (ideal).
  • A solid understanding of how a brand can stimulate business growth.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, professional services, product development.

Marketing Specialist

Description

Planning & Execution

  • Plan, evaluate and direct activities necessary to meet current and future product launch requirements, like Toll Free numbers, hosted PBX, VoIP services, etc.
  • Coordinate lead generation online campaigns.
  • Nourish existing user relationships through up-sell marketing efforts
  • Communicate new product features to partners
  • Assist the positioning of new strategic products in the local markets and target segments

Communications, Sales & MarketingSupport

  • Coordinate, communicate, and manage product requirements with marketing departments within VoiceMailTel
  • Conduct market research to current and prospective customers and partners on the potential for new VoiceMailTel services and the required features of these services
  • Understand and communicate external competitive marketing techniques and the impact on VoiceMailTel’s roadmap
  • Create and maintain product competitive matrix; identify competitor strengths & weaknesses and communicate to salesforce. Coordinate all product competitor intelligence activities
  • Work with internal resources to position products in America, create products and ensure that marketing goals are in line with the overall VoiceMailTel direction

Marketing Performance

  • Develop performance metrics and institute processes to capture and measure lead conversion; product success; report key performance indicators to internal management

Requirements

  • Must have related experience (3-5 years) in a marketing role, preferably in consumer and telecommunications marketing
  • Working knowledge of general business practices
  • Overall familiarity with data processing and software environments
  • Very strong online research skills
  • Must have analytical, quantitative and effective presentation skills
  • Provide weekly project status reports and escalate issues to management as required

Technical Writer

Description

The Technical Writer’s role is to develop written information about VoiceMailTel organization’s computing systems that help in their development, use, and support. Outputs will include a range of documents to be read by both technical and non-technical personnel across all departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop documentation project plans and timelines
  • Plan, design, research, write, and edit a range of documents, including user guides and manuals, technical specifications, training materials, user policies, and proposals, for both print and online media
  • Liaise with department heads and end-users to define identify business procedures and establish documentation needs for hardware and software
  • Analyze IT project requirements to determine types of documents needed
  • Collaborate with systems and development staff to collect and interpret technical information
  • Edit written documentation to create unified and consistent support documents
  • Work with printers and graphic artists to plan layout, graphic elements, and formatting of documents. Ensure final documents are usable and of high quality
  • Establish, communicate, and maintain documentation standards, and provide training where required
  • Maintain currency and accuracy of all documentation
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new documentation tools and methods in support of documentation improvement efforts

Position Requirements

User Interface Analyst

Description

The roles of the User Interface Analyst is to prototype, design, and build graphic user interfaces (GUIs) for software development, Web forms, and other applications. This includes capturing user requirements through collaboration with business analysts, leading and participating in testing sessions, and coordinating the final implementation of the GUI based on feedback. The use of a variety of Web and software development languages is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive and model user interface prototypes based on collected user requirements, test cases, and developmental objectives
  • Design high-level flow diagrams and GUI form charts for use in GUI specifications and architectures
  • Collaborate with business analysts, Web designers, and software developers to ensure prototypes can be efficiently implemented
  • Code, install and debug user interfaces using appropriate tools or editors
  • Define and develop current GUI style standards, as well as remain knowledgeable about emerging GUI standards and trends
  • Identify, recommend, and prioritize new user interface features and applications in conjunction with end-user requirements or business needs
